For all my adult life I've sought out things which pique my curiosity, fill me with awe and trigger my instinct to explore. I seek these things and record them, and share them with others in the hope that they will feel the same wonder and inspiration as I.
In some of my works I present things as I find them, as a chronicle of those things that exist outside the dotted lines of daily consideration - the intricate circuitry of household electronics, the decay of an abandoned building, nature's heedless march. In other works, I compose objects as a form of aesthetic synthesis, purging my memory banks of visuals and inspirations before they become stale. I photograph people rarely, and generally only by request. This is partly disinterest and partly recognizing where my strengths lie and where they do not.
